BDF Rocks CBGB!

01/22/02

Hello fans!!

Well, the CBGB gig last night went really well! Thanks and mad props to all our loyal fans who came out to support us! You guys are the best! We also gave out a ton of stickers and CDs to new fans who liked the show! So for those of you who are stopping by our website here for the first time, welcome! There's plenty of beer-soaked fun and games here, so poke around and enjoy your stay. Sign the Guest Book and let us know you stopped by. Or, please stop by our Message Board and let us know what you thought of the show!

Also, props to one of the other bands we met last night, 245. They rocked the house right before BDF played, and sang some stuff about beer too! We got to talk to them for a bit, and hope to play together with them sometime in the future. Swing by the 245 website and check them out!

Oh, and don't forget to enter the Second Official BDF Give-Away-Free-Stuff Contest!!! You can win free stuff!

Laters all, and thanks for the continued support! :)

BDF in Manhattan Continues!

01/15/02

Heyas everybody!!

The Siberia show was awesome! It was definitely the biggest crowd yet, and BDF would like to thank all our friends, family, and fans who came out to support us! It's you guys who make these shows so much fun for us to play! ;) Some pictures from the show have been posted. Feel free to swing by our Message Board and let us know what you thought of the show!

And the fun continues, as BDF will be playing at the legendary CBGB on Monday, January 21st. It's a Martin Luther King day punk rock celebration! Whether or not you have the day off, it's the perfect way to start off your week and guarantee that the day won't suck as much as a typical Monday! This night is actually an "Audition Night" type gig for BDF, and whether or not we get invited back for additional gigs at CBGB will depend a lot on what kind of crowd we bring in and how positive a crowd reaction there is to our set. So, if you can make it, BDF could really use all the support it can get for this show. Who knows, maybe there will even be some important record company executives in the crowd just waiting to hand BDF a multi-million dollar recording contract! And, of course, we'd share with our loyal fans! ;)

Speaking of sharing with our fans, we're now also announcing the Second Official BDF Give-Away-Free-Stuff Contest!!! All you have to do is answer a few simple questions about the band, and you can win free stuff! Prizes include such fun things as one of the limited edition Official BDF Puketoberfest Beer Steins, Official BDF T-shirts, original BDF artwork by Richie Rheingold, and copies of the new album being released in February! You can go read the Official Rules and Entry Form and enter today! Also, for future reference, you can find a link to the Contest under the "Fun Stuff" section of the menu at the left. Good luck to all who enter!

Laters yo, thanks for the support at Siberia, and hope to see you all on Monday! :)

Happy New Year!

01/05/02

Happy New Year everybody!!

Hope everybody had a drunken and happy new year! Feel free to share your New Year's Eve stories on our Message Board and tell us of your drunken adventures!

A few things...

First, thanks for all the positive feedback regarding the "Meet Me At The Bar" video ! It has been watched over 200 times already!! The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and has inspired us to create a second video!...

Which brings me to the second item... You probably noticed it already, but in case you didn't, there is now a Poll at the top right of the main news screen asking for your input about which song should be the next one to have a video made for it! Be sure to vote, and let us know what you think!

Don't forget that BDF will be playing at Siberia a week from Saturday, with Squirrels From Hell and White Collar Crime! It will be their official Manhattan debut!

And last, but not least, I'm happy to report that the band will in fact be going into an actual, real, fully equipped and modern recording studio at the end of this month. The location is being kept top secret as to prevent hordes of fans from showing up and causing a distraction, but, if all goes well, a full-length BDF album will be available in February! Stay tuned for more info.

Laters yo, and hope you have a good 2002! :)

Hello all you BDF fans!

BDF With SFH Holiday Show!

11/20/01

BDF Live!
Appearing with Squirrels From Hell!
The Lowdown
Friday, December 14th, 2001

After their historic live debut in November, BDF has been invited back to the Lowdown for a second appearance on Friday, December 14th! And, to make this show even more memorable than the last one, they will be joined by Squirrels From Hell, the band New York City couldn't kill! This is a one-two punch combo that can't be beat!

And, it's just in time for the holiday season! What better way to get yourself in the whole Holiday Spirit (tm) than to join with friends and family to sing about good times and drinking. Raise your glass (or plastic cup as it may be) and sing classic holiday tunes such as "The 12 Beers of Christmas", "Deck The Halls (With Kegs Of Guinness)", "Frosty The Pint Glass", and "Rudolph The Red Nosed Barkeep".

So if you didn't make it to the last gig, do not despair! Mark your calendars now, and be prepared for the expected mass consumption of alcohol, a few new songs, more fun guest appearances and sing-alongs, and some holiday surprises! Egg nog for everybody! Start your holiday season with BDF and the Squirrels!

For more info about this show, check out the dedicated gig page for the complete break-down yo! We've also added a Gigs option to the menu at the left where we will keep an archive of all the info about every live BDF performance, past and future! And to find out more about Squirrels From Hell, go to www.hellsville.com for their official website.

Be there or be sober!
