  • Summer 1992
    • BDF is formed! - Steve, Dar, Rich Guinness, Kolman.
    • Steve gets the band's first instrument, "The Cat" guitar.
  • Fall 1992
    • RAG is formed! - Richie Rheingold, Mike Michelob, Steve, Jon, Mark.
    • RAG records such hits as "Annihilation" and "Smack"
    • RAG enters the Fairfield U. "Battle of the Bands"
    • RAG pulls out of the Fairfield U. "Battle of the Bands"
  • Summer 1993
    • Dar gets a bass.
    • Tee Balls replaces Kolman as drummer.
    • "We're Outta Beer!" recorded and released.
  • Winter 1993-1994
    • Tee Balls gets some electronic drumpads.
    • Rin is adopted as an honorary BDF member.
    • The infamous Bayonne Recording Sessions.
  • Spring 1994
    • "Sobriety Sux!" is completed and released.
  • Summer 1994
    • Side Project DSA is formed! - Richie Rheingold, Steve, Dar, Tee Balls.
    • DSA records cult classics such as "Lightweights" and "1000 Sluts"
    • Rinstock Festival
  • Fall 1994
    • Steve is invited to play with Violent Grey starring Marty and Dave!
  • 1995-2000
    • BDF on hiatus.
  • Summer 2000
    • BDF records several new songs including "Fecal Snow" and "Latrell Sprewell".
    • BDF records music video for "Latrell", never to be released in the US.
    • Sock Puppet Theater
  • Spring 2001
    • Richie Rheingold joins BDF as lead singer!
    • BDF members Steve, Richie Rheingold, and Tee Balls record new songs including "Fuck Rudy" and "Work Sux!"
    • Mike Moosehead joins BDF as bassist!
    • Mike Michelob joins BDF as drummer!
  • Summer 2001
    • The new BDF lineup writes and practices brand spankin' new songs.
    • Steve D. wins the 1st Official BDF Contest.
  • Fall 2001
    • BDF records and releases "Just a Taste..." demo.
  • Winter 2001-2002
    • BDF makes their live debut at the Lowdown!
    • BDF is "too loud" in their performance at the Orange Bear.
    • "Meet Me At The Bar" music video is released to rave reviews.
    • BDF plays the legendary halls of CBGB.
    • BDF plays with Squirrels From Hell at Siberia.
    • Don R. wins the 2nd Official BDF Contest.
    • "No Refunds" album recorded and released at the Abbey Tavern release party.
  • Spring-Summer 2002
    • BDF plays at the Continental.
    • BDF continues playing live around the NYC area.
  • Fall 2002
    • Rich Guinness goes missing for three months and is replaced.
    • Brian Ballantine joins BDF as guitarist!
    • BDF Message Board is shutdown amid swirling controversy and vulgarity.
  • Winter 2002-2003
    • Puketoberfest show at Acme Underground features the live debut of Brian Ballantine.
    • BDF releases several Holiday songs such as "Here Comes Heineken" and "Frosty Cold Yuengling".
    • BDF plays with 245 and the Kezners at the Whiskey River.
  • Spring 2003
    • BDF plays the Orange Bear with the Brian Klunk Power Trio and is banned for a second time.
    • Mark McSorley wins the 3rd Official BDF Contest by writing awesome lyrics for "Work Still Sux".
  • Summer 2003
    • BDF spreads drunkeness across NYC during the "Summer of Suds Tour".
    • BDF makes their Brooklyn debut playing with White Trash Bronks at Luxx.
  • Fall 2003
    • BDF appears (briefly, and only some noise by them) in the Jack Black blockbuster movie "School of Rock".
    • BDF become Honorary Police Officers of NYC as they thwart a theft attempt after a show at Finally Fred's.
  • Winter 2003-2004
    • BDF performs their annual rendition of holiday classics, mangling the words to include more alcoholic references.
    • "Put On Your Drinkin' Shoes" album recorded and released at the Pussycat Lounge release party.
  • Spring 2004
    • BDF ventures out to Long Island with Eric El Presidente on drums to play with My Brother's Banned and Defective Skrew.
    • The "Mike Michelob Farewell Tour" begins, sending the BDF drummer for the past 3 years off into the sunset in style.
    • BDF releases their second ever music video, for the song "I Wanna Beer!"
    • BDF receives a glowing review in NY Waste for the album "Put On Your Drinkin' Shoes!"
  • Summer 2004
    • BDF calls it quits and blows the roof off Acme Underground with the BDF Farewell Show.
  • Winter 2004
    • BDF releases the music video for the song "Drinkin' Forties On The Subway".
