No Refunds

Remember that comp a few years back called "Songs About Drinking?" These motherfuckers belong on volume 2.

Think raw punk in the vein of Blank 77. Fast, energetic and quick (only one song clocks in at over 3 minutes, with the majority around the 2 minute mark). Beer Drinking Fools mention a few influences in the bio (Ramones, Misfits, Metallica, Pixies, Pogues) but have a pretty original sound going for them. The prevailing theme in the songs is, no surprise here, BEER. There is a song about America's favorite coach-choker Latrell Sprewell, an anti-work anthem, and a "yuppies go to hell" theme. Swirling dual guitars provide the melody and the energetic drumming and bass guitar tear it down. The humor comes in large doses in the lyrics and the bio and it's obvious these guys don't take themselves too seriously, a great characteristic of a true punk band. If the album doesn't sound completely appealing yet, I would recommend at least checking these guys out live as with all the drinking games and stories they incorporate into their show, I'm sure it would be a riot.

If swilling is your game check out Beer Drinking Fools and you won't be disappointed. Good shit to kick back to with your brewski.
