Heyas!
Well, as you may or may not have heard by now, BDF will not be looking to replace Mike Michelob when he moves at the end of the month. Instead, the Fools have decided to break up the band, and work on their own individual side projects. It was a tough decision, but one that seems like the right thing to do at this time. But, it's not over yet....
Two shows remaining! The first one is next Tuesday, June 15th at Kenny's Castaways. BDF goes at 8pm, so it's a nice early summertime show. And plenty of other bars in the area there on Bleecker for a little post-gig bar-hopping!
And after that.... total drunken oblivion at the HUGE Beer Drinking Fools final show! Acme Underground, Friday, June 25th. The show starts at 9:30pm and includes performances by long-time BDF friends and supporters My Brother's Banned, Squirrels From Hell, and Defective Skrew. This is THE musical event of the summer. If you haven't seen BDF live yet, this is your last chance. If you have, well, then you know what kind of drunken escapades to expect at something as important and exciting as this show.

Hello all you crazy people!
Get those headphones out. The Beer Drinking Fools acoustic performance and interview is streaming live right now thanks to the Indie Music Explosion! This is your rare chance to hear a couple songs by BDF without all the distortion and feedback, and let the harmony and melody behind the music infect you. Infect you in a good way. Not like a disease or something bad.

Hello all you crazy people!
Next Wednesday. June 2nd. Lizard Lounge. BDF live with Defective Skrew at a big birthday bash for one of their members! Extend your holiday weekend a few days longer, and come on out and rock n roll with BDF! Show starts at 9:30pm EST.
If you haven't heard, the video for "I Wanna Beer" is getting a lot of attention! If you haven't watched it yet, what are you waiting for? Don't worry, there's nothing too bad in there that would get you fired if you watch it while at work. Just make sure your speakers are cranked up real loud. :P
BDF Unplugged. The long-awaited acoustic performance was recorded last week, and will be airing all day and night (in an infinite loop! well... not quite infinite, cause it'll end sometime Thursday) on the Indie Music Explosion Website next Wednesday, June 2nd! If you tune in, and don't hear BDF, just hang out and listen to the rest of the music cause it's pretty good too. And, as a special treat, BDF was also interviewed! You'll get the inside scoop on some of the history surrounding BDF, where they get inspiration for their songs, and other fun stuff! Tune into the webcast during the day, and then come out to the bar that same night for a double-dose of BDF goodness!
Check out the other June shows in the Gigs section, including the big June 25th show that will feature several other bands and will definitely be the biggest show in BDF history. And we're not just saying that to get you to come, we mean it this time.

Heya fans!
It's been 2 and a half years in the making. After the worldwide success and instant cult classic status of the video for "Meet Me At The Bar", it has quite high expectations to live up to. And, finally, BDF is pleased to announce the world premiere of their second ever music video. Ladies and gentlemen, "I Wanna Beer" (and actually, yes, I do).
NY Waste magazine has also written review of the latest BDF album. Where they say such insightful things as "Put On Your Drinking Shoes is beer lovin', thirst quenching stuff. This is the music to guzzle beer to". Be sure to read the entire review to get a professional opinion on the BDF phenomenon!
And, for a slightly different event, BDF will be performing a live acoustic performance for the Indie Music Explosion! Yes, that's right. BDF Unplugged. The band will be recording that in May and it will be broadcast as a webcast on the IME website in June. Check out their website at www.indiemusicexplosion.com for the live acoustic performances so far!

The Mike Michelob Farewell Tour continues, with another show at one of Manhattan's popular music venues! After work! This Friday 8PM! April 23rd!! Beer Drinking Fools at the ACME Underground! Perfect way to kick off your weekend!
After the show, join the band for HOT CAJUN FOOD, BUCKETS of BEER on ice, and powerful HURRICANES (the cocktail, not the malt liquor or the weather condition)!
We have all new limited edition pins to give out and will be doing some new songs! As well as plenty of ol' favorites!!

Hello Beer Fans!
Well, we survived the trip to Long Island, despite the bartender's valient attempts to drown us with free alcohol! Thanks again to My Brother's Banned and Defective Skrew for having us!
Next week, BDF will be kicking off the official Mike Michelob Farewell Tour! So make your Good Friday a Great Friday, and come on down to see BDF Friday, April 9th at the Pussycat Lounge going on at 11pm!
If you can't make it out to that show, the Mike Michelob Farewell Tour continues 2 weeks later. BDF will be uptown a bit at Acme Underground on Friday, April 23rd!

Greetings!
For those of you who have not heard yet...
We are sad to announce that Mike Michelob will be leaving the band in August. For three years, Mike has provided the hard-pounding, ear-splitting "rhythm" that has made BDF a force to be reckoned with in the world of punk rock. Mr. Michelob will be moving to Chicago in August to play drums with Ministry. Please join us in wishing him the best of luck, and keep an eye peeled for the upcoming "Mike Michelob Farewell Tour" coming to a bar near you very soon! BDF has yet to find a replacement, as those are a pair of drinking shoes that will be hard to fill. However, if you or someone you know plays drums and might be interested, let us know. If you don't play drums and are interested, you have 4 months to learn how to play, so get cracking!

Also on the bill is My Brother's Banned and Defective Skrew! Mike Michelob will be out of town, so legendary drummer Eric "El Presidente" Puente will be guest drummer for the night! Hope everybody had a nice Valentine's Day and President's Day! BDF rocked the house at CBGB yet again! Thanks to all who came out, we had a nice sized crowd.

"Put On Your Drinkin' Shoes" is now available through Interpunk. Just go to the site, and type in "Beer" in the search box, and the new BDF CD will come up as the first match! For those of you in the NYC area, you can get your hands on a copy at Wowsville and Bleecker Bob's in the Village. Hello all!
The "Put On Your Drinkin' Shoes" Seedy/CD Release Party at the Pussycat Lounge ROCKED! There were a lot of faces out that night, not to mention some peeps from White Trash Bronks and It's (Just) Blood, Baby.
Thanks to all who came out (some all the way from Boston!) and all who took the new Beer Drinking Fools CD home with them!
As a matter of fact, BDF rocked so punk and the fans were so rad, that the band has been invited to play the legendary CBGB's this Sunday (Feb 15th) at 8:30pm (no, not 2 hours late this time). You know this place is the birthplace of punk, so it's the perfect place to see BDF again. For all of you who missed the release party, here's your chance to atone for your sins!
Plus, you don't have work Monday so it's a perfect excuse to go out and get smashed!
Hooray for President's Day, hooray for the U.S.A.! Hooray for BDF!
Anyway, CB's is on the corner of Bleeker and Bowery. Come out and keep the BDF torch bright! Or to keep the BDF stein full.
And get a CD from us at the show for just $5 or if you're on St. Mark's Place go to Wowsville and pick up a copy at their fine establishment.

Heya peeps!
It's a New Year, and it's cold as hell out there! Well, never fear, it's BDF to the rescue!
FTSD Records invites you to celebrate the release of "Put On Your Drinkin' Shoes", the latest and greatest album by BDF. And nothing warms up a cold winter night like loud music and warm alcohol flowing through your veins. So mark your calendar for Friday, February 6th at the Pussycat Lounge in Manhattan. We'll have copies of the CD available, limited-edition pins, and other fun stuff to piss off your neighbors and make your friends jealous.
February also happens to be the month of birthdays of BDF members Steve St. Ides, Brian Ballantine, and Mike Moosehead so this will be the night of all nights! Be there or be sober!! This will also give you a good chance to dance your ass off, so you get into good shape by the time Valentine's Day rolls around!!
