Bad News and Good News

So there's some quick bad news and good news on the BDF front. The bad news is that the Manitoba's show scheduled for February 19th was cancelled. Apparently there's some uptight neighbors who were complaining about the noise of rock n roll bands there. The good news is that another show has been added to take its place!
BDF will be playing this Friday, February, 23rd 2007 at Desmond's Tavern! 5 bucks to get in. Also at this show will be the
comedy of Brian Morris and rocking by the Bombers. BDF goes on at 10pm.

Well, we survived St. Patrick's Day, and it's time for the next show!
Beer Drinking Fools have the new(ish) song "War On Drugs" on this CD, and will performing with a bunch of the other bands from the album. The show starts early and goes late and features 15 bands! So put on your drinking shoes early that day, stop by, and pick up what's sure to be the hottest punk compilation in NYC for 2006!
And, on a totally unrelated note, BDF is trying to get on the side stage at this year's Vans Warped Tour. And you can help! Just go to our official Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands page, and listen to each of the songs we have there. You have to let the entire song play for it to count, and every listen helps! Thanks yo.
Did you know that St. Patrick's Day is less than a month away? Did you know that this year, BDF will be rocking the motherfucking house that day to the delight of drunkards everywhere? Well, it's true!
Not only that, but the date marks the 5 year anniversary of the BDF website, and the reincarnation of one of the most popular bands that sings about beer and work sucking and booze in general. We been playing around NYC for 5 whole years now. And thanks to all of our fans who have made those 5 years so memorable! (And the bartenders who may have been responsible for us not remembering certain nights as well.) Come on out and drink up with BDF this St. Patrick's Day!
BDF is back with a live show that's a bit different from their typical gigs. Saturday, February 4th at Live Fast, a cool clothing store in Manhattan! The "invite only" party begins at 7pm, and BDF will play an extra-long extended set beginning at 9pm.
Should be a lot of fun, and a good chance to see Beer Drinking Fools play in a cozy intimate setting.

Coming real soon, BDF will be a part of a punk compilation CD, New York Shitty - Punk Rock! In preparation for the appearance, Beer Drinking Fools went into the studio this summer to record two of their latest songs! While you'll have to wait for the compilation release to hear "War On Drugs", we're happy to present you with the B-Side recording that didn't make the CD: "(I Hate) Pearl Jam Cover Bands"
